Thank you for that, it’s useful. It would be good to be clear about environmental impacts, though – this list doesn’t address that and I don’t find it easy to see on the app either at first glance. Since almost all this stuff is going to end up down the drain, that seems an important issue.

Love Yuka! So great to get some suggestions of products with no nasties. I used your lip balm suggestions to find a replacement for the blistex I had been using for years but swopped to one on your list when I found it in a local store, and it cost a fraction of my usual for a pack of 4! I will definitely be using your Aftersun suggestions for my next purchase.
I Keep these ideas in an email folder to refer to when needed, so keep them coming please, great work and very much appreciated!
Maybe a face cream next? I found Garnier do a couple of options, but I’m still trying to source one that gives me the moisture that my mature post menopausal skin needs, such a confusing market these days!
    Keep up the good work!😊

I disagree with the previous comment from Phillip. You will always get someone who is negative, when all you are doing is trying to help us. I think that it is extremely helpful when you inform us, as not everyone has the time to check their app, especially if they have young children distracting them or there is such poor Internet reception in the supermarket. Thank you for all your help and information you provide us.

Thank you Yuca, you are doing very valuable and essential work in today’s diverse marketplace. We did not know how much we needed something like your app. However I am a bit worried about your latest information sheet on the “ Top 10 after Sun” as some might infer that you are being sponsored by the manufacturers. We always check the ingredients using your app before buying anyway, hence you do not need to recommend specific products may I suggest as it might subtract from your impartially.

Thanks for this, Julie, much appreciated. An important and very useful study, made even more special by its independent approach.
What I’m not seeing, however, but assuming via your clear dedication to “all things pure & healthy”, is the assurance that no chemical nasties of whatever format are resident in any of the above chosen products, even items relatively low on the harmful scale, e.g. “parfum”, etc.
It’s one thing to trust people like yourself, which we all do, but it’s quite another to have a full exposé of the full picture, esp. with a formal test exercise like this one.
So, whilst I accept the above exercise at face value, I’d still like to be able to obtain the fuller, ingredient picture, even if it’s simply for complete assurance.
